The Sword, Combined (WoW)
Friday night, Holyreign and Kurathan were party to a Zul'Farrak run. It was a blast.
We had a couple real high levels with us, so we just tore through it.
The key to this run was that Holyreign had Sang'Thraze, and I had Jang'Thraze. The main thing Holyreign wanted was Jang'Thraze to complete his sword. I still had a quest in the Sunken Temples line that needed to be completed in Zul'Farrak, too.
First run, Jang'Thraze drops. Sweet.
I never expected to ever pick up Sang'Thraze, but I thought I'd give it a try. Besides, it seemed like the party assumed we'd be going in after it.
SANG'THRAZE DROPPED!
So, now, both Holyreign and I have Sul'Thraze. What an awesome sword, too. Almost doubled the DPS, plus it has a very nice effect.

Personal Update - Good Times
I haven't updated in a long time, so I think it's time for one now.
Things have been ridiculous lately. Recently, one of my old college credit card debts finally took some serious action against me. Not that a lawsuit is not serious, but even more serious. Wage garnishment. It hurts. A lot.
The sad thing about my credit is not that it sucks. The sad thing is that it sucks because of debt that was a mistake I made nearly 10 years ago. Everything started within the last five years is current and in good standing.
Saturday, I spoke with a bankruptcy attorney. Looks like I'll be filing bankruptcy within a couple months. That's about how long it will take me to save up the money to cover the retainer fee.
On a brighter note, one of our friends had their first baby this past week. We'll be headed down to see their new family in a week or so.
Also, we had a great 4th of July celebration. We went to a friends house, where he cooked some great meats on the grill. We had already purchased some artillery shells and used them to great amusement after dinner. We adjourned the day with friendly conversation and headed home.
We have been making good use of the apartment pool this year. Last year, we only used the pool once at the last place and only maybe four or five times at the previous place. This year, we have already been over 20 times. We've gotten to meet several couples that live here, too. They all seem to be very nice and are friendly.
We are planning on heading down to Oklahoma the weekend of the 28th. Mary has off 26, 27, and 30. I have the 27th off for flex scheduling and I'll be requesting the 26th and 30th off. I miss my parents SO much.
Good news about my dad. He started radiation therapy a couple weeks ago. The tumor has shrunk since he began the treatment.

Update - Long Time Coming (WoW)
It's been a long time since I posted an update for WoW.

Kurathan has finally gotten past 50 to level 51. Arctic wanted to try to get an instance run in, but it just didn't work out before he and Xzeria headed off to the Virgin Islands for a vacation. So, now, I have a couple weeks to work on leveling him up. I also got some good tanking information from Xzeria, who is an excellent warrior class player. I will probably be changing Kurathan's talent specialization soon.
Illynis is up to level 21 now, and I'm thinking about changing the direction he's taking. Although there is a dilemma. Right now, I'm enjoying the chill and freeze effects of the frost tree, but the fire tree does more damage. That definitely balances them out. Time or damage?

Giladen and the central Blades of Azeroth crew ran through Black Fathom Deeps this weekend. It was very successful, with only 3 deaths. Thankfully, we were all able to get on Ventrilo and were able to plan out each phase of the dungeon. She is up to level 32 now, and I'm hoping she will have enough to get a mount in 8 levels.
Fayneld is up to level 12. It is still too early to determine the direction I'm going with him, but I think it will end up all spent on the Destruction tree.
