Slow Goings (WoW)
I haven't posted any updates for WoW in a long time. That's just because my computer is still dead. I don't really know when it will get fixed.

Until then, I'm getting about one to two hours of play time a week, maximum.

Kurathan is slowly getting his level up there. Right now, he's doing quests in [edit: I'll update later. It's the zone south, through Blackrock Mountain from the Burning Steppes.]. My only fear right now is that he is being completely left behind by the guild.

Which, of course, is no fault of their own. They are players, too. I just hope I'll have some guild toons in my level range when I play each time.

Giladen has finally broken past level 38. She is only one level away from 40 and has a LOT of gold to harvest. One thing I'd thought about doing was heading back to a lower level area where mobs drop cloth, harvest the cloth, make and sell the bags.
Drunk Driver Thursday
Thursday night was long.

View Google Map of this adventure.

After I got home from work, Mary and I went to Nebraska Furniture Mart to look for a new desk for her new office space downtown. We ate at IHOP next door after shopping, then headed home.

Upon arriving at the entrance driveway, we found that it was blocked by a car. We pulled over and asked the driver if she was okay. The front driver tire was flat, and the driver was wasted. With the assistance of another resident (also drunk) we changed her flat for her. Our resolve was for Mary to drive her car, and I would drive this drunk's car to her home.

I plopped into the driver's seat only to find out the car was a stick. I can't drive a stick. Mary can't drive a stick. We didn't like our decision, but we decided to follow her slowly.

She headed west on Barry road for about a mile and pulled into a church parking lot. We pulled up along side her and I got out to ask if she was okay.

"I don't know where I am," she replied.

It was at this time we learned that she was from Overland Park. WAY too far to drive in her state.

We had her just park the car in the lot and jump in the back seat of Mary's car. And away we went.

"119th and Metcalf," she said. So, to 119th and Metcalf we headed.

When we finally arrived at 119th and Metcalf, we discovered that Johnny's was not, in fact, a home that belonged to a friend named Johnny. It WAS, however, a BAR!! That's right folks. She was meeting her friends at a bar.

I left her a note with the location of her car and included my name and cell phone number, just in case. As of today, I have received no phone calls, but I also have not gone by the church to see if her car is still there.
