Bodies Revealed
There is an exciting exhibit coming through Kansas City that I am very interested in. The exhibit is called Bodies Revealed.

In this exhibit, they utilize human bodies that have been donated to science. Yes, real cadavers. The cadavers have been divided into sections so visitors may see the inside workings of the human body. This would include healthy specimens along with those that have disease or damage from life choices (smoking is a big one for them).

I'm trying to get a bunch of people together from where I work so we can get a group discount.

Check it out here.

Edit: On a related note, check this out. Leave to the antiquated organization called the Catholic Church to oppose any scientific progression.
Level Up (WoW)
I finally got Kurathan up to level 61 last night. With very little fanfare, he got the 8k XP he needed. I then flew him out to Outlands and logged off.

It was kind of disheartening to see the XP bar. From 60 to 61, 292,000 XP. From 61 to 62, 547,000 XP. Ouch.
Legion of the Last Rose and the Story of the Chasm (WoW)
Our horde guild, DarKVilliaNz, was taken away from us by Blizzard GMs. No big deal. We were able to get plenty of signatures to create a new guild, Legion of the Last Rose.

The weekend of February 16th was good, but the 23rd was better.

The 16th, our guild go together to make a Ragefire Chasm run. All but Mary had the quests ready to go. She was only missing one, though. To compound that, we had a limited time to make the run. I was using Celluth (still a member of Azeroth Crusaders). We got quite a ways into the instance, but just could not complete it as two of our group members had to leave.

We planned to make the run again on the 23rd and did NOT have limited time. After a bit of a wait (Nathan was able to complete a quest and pick up resurrection, thank goodness), we got started. We ended up wiping twice, but eventually made it all the way through, completing all the quests.

Mary's toon, ThePplsTroll, was then up to level 17. Very respectably ranked among the guild members. Sunday, I had her run ThePplsTroll through some more quests. Though, not the same ones we worked on Saturday morning. Since I was still at home, I didn't want her to do the Barrens quests, as Celluth also has them and I wanted to work those quests together. So, I had her run to the Ghostlands and begin questing there. By the time we ended our running, she had ThePplsTroll up to about 18 and a quarter.

All in all, a great weekend.
Kurathan's Happy Update (WoW)
Kurathan has, happily, stopped questing in Silithus. It was just getting too difficult for him there. I looked over his tailoring patterns and noted that he was ready to start making the next level of bags, Runecloth Bag. I hearthstoned him back to the Undercity and hit the trainer there. He didn't have the skill. I was confused.

So, I checked wowhead.com and found that it was a pattern and was a vendor item. No problem. I checked for the location of the nearest vendor, only to find out that it was only sold by ONE particular vendor in the whole of Azeroth. A goblin trade supplies vendor in Everlook, Winterspring. I put Kurathan on a zeppelin to Orgrimmar and flew him up to Everlook (he already had the flight point). Walked over to the vendor and initiated a trade. She did not have the pattern. I was more confused.

I went back to wowhead.com and began reading a few comments. They all pointed to her having two limited quantity slots and a set of five total limited quantity items. The concensus was that one item had to be sold for a slot to open up. When the (internal) timer was up, a new item would replace it. I ended up camping Kurathan there, buying one item at a time, with a total of four purchases. Each item cost 1g44s. After an hour, I decided to pick up a bunch of quests for Kurathan and head out, to have him check back each time he turned a quest in. I did this for another hour. No luck.

I checked back with wowhead.com AGAIN and decided to read all the comments. The last comment pretty much negated what everyone else said. The bag pattern had its OWN slot and its OWN timer. Finally, after some more questing, the pattern appeared.

Since Kurathan had been working in Silithus, he had been hording everything he needed to put in the auction house. With the proceeds from that along with the coin gathered during questing, Kurathan is now at just over 100g away from getting his level 60 mount.
