Pain
I've been a little out of sorts the last few days. Actually, I've had quite a bout of dyshidrotic eczema. That's a medical name for tiny-blisters-that-drive-me-insane-for-a-week.

Take the following link, scroll to the bottom of the page, then up to the pictures. Imagine media files 2 and 5 combined to imagine what happened to me.

Dyshidrotic Eczema

It started the morning of the 16th and finally stopped pain on the 22nd. The 23rd started the healing process. Now, I'm in the drying out phase. Should have pictures of the drying phase up very soon.
Toon Update (WoW)
Kurathan has made very little progress, stuck at 62. Mostly been using him as a helper for lower level players.

Celluth has seen some play time and has leveled to 26. He's been staying strictly to be the paired toon with Mary's Thepplstroll, who is also up to 26.

Padaraeus has seen the most play time. He is up to level 28 now and I am enjoying his progression. Although he is setting up to be a fire mage, I am still missing the chill effects of the frost spells. However, that is offset by the fire talent that has an 80% chance to prevent interruption during spellcasting. Also, fire spells are doing MUCH more damage. Especially with the burn effects.

Giladen hasn't been summarily dismissed, but I just haven't felt the need to progress her. I felt a twinge early last week and ran Giladen for a couple hours, but haven't touched her since. Feyneld, on the other hand, probably feels like the proverbial red-headed step-child.

Arothar, one of the paired Blood Elf hunters Mary and I made together, I think will see some play time this week, but that is yet to be seen.

Dear God... What have I done?

I have misplaced our W-2s and 1099-INTs. I have about 36 hours to find them so I can file an extension...

OUer in KU Country
Being an OU fan is tough here in Kansas City. The prevalence of KU propoganda is disheartening. As you sports fans now know, KU has won their first NCAA Basketball Tournament in 20 years. As such, there was much celebration in and around Kansas City. Including the place I work.

Some people are happy to display some small memento such as a license plate.

Some people need more elaborate decoration such as posters, memorabilia plaques, and...

Yes, that is a coaster, folks. A coaster in the shape of a folding chair.

The best to see, though, are those that don body gear. The most prolific of these has been stickers such as these.

Surprisingly, T-shirts, like the following, were NOT as prolific.

This last picture is of a more permanent form of body gear. That's right, kids, these otherwise cute little toes have been defaced with the colors and letters of KU. (I must admit some fault here. When requesting permission to post this picture, I referred to them as 'KUte little toes'.)

The most interesting aspect of this whole ordeal has been the LACK of participation, though. As many people that claim to be big-time KU fans, I thought I would have somewhere near 20 pictures or more to post, but I have only six. As you can see, some of these are from the same perpetrator.

I guess I can't really complain. I haven't replaced my OU flag that was destroyed early last year. I need to get one before football season starts again, though. And, don't worry, folks. I will not be getting my toenails painted in crimson and cream. Although, if I did, rest assured, you would see them here.

GO SOONERS!
